This resulted in the creation of data silos - separate repositories that hinder the seamless integration and accessibility of information across various departments. The senior leadership struggled to make well-informed decisions as they couldn’t extract holistic insights from the current system. Meanwhile, the technical team found themselves burdened with the challenging responsibility of maintaining numerous systems, amounting to a total of 16 data sources.
